Dear Friend(s) in Christ,

Welcome to St. Cecilia Catholic Church! My name is Fr. Rick Kotrba. I have been the pastor here since July 2021. It is my hope and prayer that you will be filled with blessings as you and I journey together in our discipleship with Jesus Christ.

The first step in becoming involved in St. Cecilia parish is to join us at Sunday Mass. The Eucharist is the source and summit of our Catholic Faith. Your regular participation at Sunday Mass honors God, blesses our parish community, and floods your life with the immensity of grace. Also, visit us for Adoration each Wednesday, held in the Church. We
invite you to visit him in the Church whenever you can.

The next step is to say “Hi” to the priest after Mass. I am eager to meet you. We are here to help you in the adjustment to your new parish and to meet your spiritual needs. You can also call or email us whenever you need. Our contact information is in the bulletin and on the website.

Thirdly, don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to fellow parishioners after Sunday Mass or to get involved in the various prayer and formation opportunities that can be found in the bulletin. To help with this, we will provide you and each new members with information packets by mail.

Fourthly, check out our website. This will give you all the latest information about current events in our parish.

Finally, make a visit to the church office. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Marcia Miller will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

While you are in the office you can also register. Registering places you on the parish mailing roster and provides the parish with the information necessary in case of an emergency. Registration opens the possibility to enroll children in the parish school, schedule baptisms or weddings at St. Cecilia, use parish halls (which are available to registered parishioners only). Collection envelopes are mailed to registered parishioners on a bi-monthly basis. If you are not registered, you will have to obtain permission from the parish in which you are currently registered for a baptism or wedding to be held here at St. Cecilia Church.

We sincerely hope that your reception here is warm and inviting. By following these steps - attending Sunday Mass, meeting the priests, introducing yourself to parishioners, visiting the church office, and registering in the parish - you will begin walking with the parish family of St. Cecilia as fellow Disciples of Jesus Christ.

In Christ,

Rev. Patrick Kotrba, Pastor
